Q) Are the “2 photographers” always Dan and Anna?
A) Yes! Dan and Anna are a husband and wife team. Dan has been photographing weddings since 2006 and Anna has been photographing alongside him since 2008. There are many benefits to two photographers; Dan often photographs the groom getting ready while Anna is with the bride. Also, during key events such as portraits, ceremony, and dance they are able to shoot from different vantage points with different lenses, giving you multiple perspectives of the same moment.
Q) I would like to book! How much is the deposit?
A) We require a 50% deposit ($1500) to secure your wedding date. The balance of your invoice is not due until after your wedding upon delivery of your disc of images and products.
Q) What are digital negatives and what are my rights?
A) Digital negatives are the high-resolution images of your wedding on a disk. Along with the disk you receive a full print release. The images are yours, so you are able to reproduce and share them as you’d like. We also include a folder with the low-resolution (web optimized) images on the disk so that you can share your photos on facebook or your blog.
We retain copyrights to all the images as well so that we can publish them on our website or blog, submit to wedding magazines, etc.
Q) Does “full-coverage” of my wedding day mean there are no hourly restrictions?
A) Exactly. We are available to start our day as early as you! We will meet you at the salon where you are getting ready and stay until the party is over. You have us for the day.
Q) How many photos will I receive from my wedding day?
A) Every wedding is different and therefore the number of final images per wedding is different. Typically the image count varies between 600-800 images, however we never set a pre-determined number. We simply ensure that the full story of your wedding day is told in a beautiful way.
If you decide to add an engagement session the image count is typically between 150-200 photographs.
